The summer heat has settled down, and we are starting to notice the chill in the mornings and evenings. This time of year, as the air turns crisp and cool toward winter, is a season when both dogs and people can easily feel under the weather.
saesa is a vegetable sprinkle for dogs, crafted with great care to ensure you can feed it to your beloved dog every day with peace of mind. It uses only vegetables grown with domestic organic fertilizer, is completely additive-free, and is made using a unique process that retains the natural flavor and nutrients of the vegetables themselves. In this fourth installment of our arrangement recipe series, which introduces easy and healthy recipes using saesa, we will be featuring a nutrient-packed "Grilled Salmon and Chunky Vegetable Soup," perfect for this time of year.
Basic Recipe

Protein is one of the most important nutrients for dogs. It is essential not only for muscles and bones but also for maintaining the health of their coat and teeth.
This menu provides a solid dose of protein by using salmon, which is rich in high-quality protein, combined with saesa protein, which contains plant-based protein derived from broccoli.
It is recommended not only for adult dogs but also for growing puppies who need more protein, as well as senior dogs who want to maintain their muscles and bones.
◉Ingredients

・Hot water…120cc
・saesa (protein)…3g
・Salmon…1/2 fillet
Please adjust the feeding amount to suit your dog.
We prepared a larger amount this time as we were testing a few different recipes.
◉Instructions
① Grill the salmon thoroughly until cooked through to the center.

It’s a basic rule, but when buying ingredients, make sure to purchase "raw salmon," not "salted salmon."
Be sure to grill the salmon thoroughly until it is cooked through.

We use a grill in our home, but you can also cook it in a frying pan.
② Flake the meat and remove the bones.

Carefully remove all bones, as any remaining ones could get stuck in your dog's throat when they eat.
③ Add hot water to saesa and add the flaked salmon.

Simply add saesa to the hot water, stir in the salmon, and it's ready.
I happened to have taro and lotus root at home, so I added a small amount as a topping.

Plus-One Recipe
◉Add goat milk for even more nutrition

As a "plus-one" recipe, we also recommend adding goat milk.
Nutrient-dense goat milk is less likely to cause diarrhea in dogs and is suitable for efficiently consuming nutrients and hydration.
It is a great item to boost palatability for senior dogs with smaller appetites or dogs who are picky eaters.
Time to eat!

Now, let's head to the tasting time.
Our taste testers for this corner are our regular participants: our dogs, Amrita the Dachshund (4 years old, affectionately called Am-chan) and Petrichor the Italian Greyhound (1 year old, affectionately called Petchi-kun). By the way, the photo is from Am-chan's 4th birthday party.

As it turns out, Petchi-kun loves fish.
He was already making a huge fuss, wanting to eat it from the moment I started flaking the salmon.

When I served it in their respective bowls, Petchi-kun was overjoyed just as I expected! He finished it in no time.
On the other hand, Am-chan, who prefers meat over fish, didn't seem very interested. She sniffed it a little and wandered off somewhere.

Thinking it couldn't be helped, I tried offering the plus-one goat milk version as a last resort, and she reacted well to it! While I was thinking, "Oh?", she lapped it all up. As an owner, I was the most surprised.
For dogs who aren't very fond of fish, the plus-one recipe might just be the perfect nudge they need.

◉protein to support your dog’s body with plant-based protein

A product rich in plant-based protein, made by low-temperature drying of only four types of domestic vegetables: broccoli, carrots, daikon radish, and cabbage.
All protein is vegetable-derived, and it contains absolutely no beef, chicken, lamb, eggs, dairy products, or soy, so it can be used daily even for dogs with sensitivities to animal proteins.
Conclusion
We've created a soup that supports the foundation of the body, perfect for this time of year when health can be delicate.
Let's aim for a delicious and healthy lifestyle and enjoy navigating the change of seasons together with our beloved dogs.
